Should we sign Charlie Austin or Loic Remy?

I know but people panicking about them is just silly, they almost went down. Any ambitious player is going to seen a weakened team.

To be fair, villa dont have much of a choice with delph or benteke? Their release clauses have been activated. Sherwood has already said they wouldnt be sold otherwise

Apparently, the newcastle hold up surrounds the fee. Plus the condition of his knee is putting potential suitors off. The player himself wants it done and dusted.

As far as i have been told he's going to newcastle, which has always been on the cards.

Austin because if the OS starts to shake a bit too hard with the excitement next season he can help put some bricks up to support where necessary.

West Ham are reportedly lining up a transfer bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

The 27-year-old looks set to leave Old Trafford this summer after falling out of favour with United boss Louis van Gaal and spending last season on loan to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Hernandez impressed during his limited appearances for Madrid, scoring 7 league goals, but his future in Manchester remains doubtful and, according to the Daily Mail, West Ham are considering targeting the Mexican.

The forward would significantly bolster Hammers manager Slaven Bilic’s attacking options ahead of West Ham’s final season at the Boleyn Ground.

No brainer has to be Austin who could slip right into the team no problem. No offence to QPR but the number of chances we waste due to not having a proper goal scorer pisses us all off.AC may as well retire as it is only a matter of time before he gets injured yet again.Valencia/Zarate are too unreliable to score enough goals that could move us higher in the league or possible cup success.

The Queens Park Rangers striker still faces the possibility of a Chelsea move.

Newcastle United and West Ham United are yet to bid for Charlie Austin because the QPR front man will not commit to anyone else while he knows he could end up at Chelsea, according to the Shields Gazette.

Indeed, the QPR man has been linked with Chelsea and that has skewed the potential of a move elsewhere.

The Gazette report that as the reason for the Magpies and the Hammers not yet showing their hand in any potential Austin chase. Chelsea have now signed Radamel Falcao, while Leicester City are said to have had a bid rejected for Austin, but a Blues move is not yet fully off the table.

And, to add to the mix, the Chronicle also suggest Newcastle will now up their bid for the QPR man as they near a 'D-day' with regards to his future. All reports quote the R's as wanting £15 million for the 25-year-old.

The Remy factor

The factor that will decide any potential Austin-Chelsea deal is Loic Remy's future - and that has become less clear.

Should the Frenchman leave the Blues, the QPR striker will surely be sought as a replacement this summer.

However, Jose Mourinho has reportedly blocked any Stamford Bridge exit for Remy, who has been linked with West Ham to complicate things even further (both as per the Daily Mirror among others).

If Remy stays, then, both Newcastle and the Hammers can pursue Austin much more vigorously than previously. But, with a £15m asking price, there's still plenty to consider...
